Right, two Orange stores in Meadowhall so
I'm off on my lunch in a but to see what they have to say about my coverage issue.
Anyone know when the T-Mobile merger is going through? I'd imagine an improvement then.
a familiar problem since day 1 of the iphone 2007, still not fixed.
Still waiting to see what tmobile offer with regards to the iphone4...still no word from them...pretty silly as they must be losing a lot of customers to other networks...

Aren't they merging with Orange though? Or have I read into the merger completely wrong?![]()
They are merging, but they are going to continue to operate as two independent companies on the high-street.
Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up for me.
I think I read somewhere that Orange was to be the 'premium' brand of the two, whereas T-Mobile were your 'everyday' type of brand. I'll try and dig out where I read that, but it might explain why T-Mobile are keeping quiet about their iPhones.
Edit: The boss of ‘Everything Everywhere’, Tom Alexander, confirmed the pecking order in the new group, when he explained that the Orange brand had a “premium element”, while T-Mobile had a “straightforward, value-orientated appeal”.
Sauce:
That 'profit' has to cover an awful lot of costs, from the research and development of the product all the way through to the marketing of it as well as paying for every building (and it's associated costs (heat, electricity, water, rent etc etc) and supplier and staff member costs. Really, the list of costs just goes on and on and it annihilates profits very quickly.
Sooo has anyone managed to get a free bumper today?
I was going to try, but I think it'll definitely be a no now that an alledged fix is on the way. If it doesn't work though I'll be the first one on the phone to them![]()
iPhone doesn't need marketing.
Fix?
I tried at lunch and failed. The woman, who was american, suggested to buy the bumper and would not give it for free. I will try again but this time I'll be pushy and speak with a manager.
