That's why then.

You need to swap back to UK Generic firmware to get the update.

I'm doing it ota, so don't know exactly what the update is. Like you, no USB cable with me. 41MB won't hurt my allowance much, I'm so far under par for this month.

Erm, it seems to be stuck on the fourth step of the update process. Animation has stopped as well.

Nope after a few minutes finally some animation.
