Well, Orange said to ring CS in the low reception area. Easier said than done with no reception!
Apple seem to think they can cancel the contract inside 14 days but I need all the paperwork which is sat at home.
On a side note, the Meadowhall Apple Store had millions of bumpers!

I've been away at Glasto since before iPhone4 launch, whats the general consensus? heard of a few problems but are these widespread and how does the iPhone perform overall?

Well the biggest problem is the reception if you hold the phone in your left hand, covering the bottom left of the phone. Not everyone can make it happen, and I don't think anyone is 100% if its only happening in areas with a weak signal or not. Rumours of a fix are on the way but who knows.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with, the screen is amazing, text looks incredible especially when you compare it side-by-side with a 3GS, its fast, feels very solid when you hold it and the camera is just astonishing for both picture quality and shutter speed.
Rumours are that the white will be available end of July.

.Have you got Belkin routers by any chance. I have at home and it is a nightmare. I never have any issues with any other router manufacturer and Belkin seem to update their firmwares as often as Jesus is seen on the high street.

i thought this too. UK's second largest financial services centre (second only to london) and has the largest growth of any city over the last few years.
Yet is compeltely without an apple store. An e-mail is in order me thinks.

It would have come through by now if it was going to come through. If you head back in with the credit/debit card you used to pay for the iPhone a manager will be able to reprint the receipt for you on the spot.
Just got off the phone to an Apple Senior Advisor in the states after a carefully constructed lie (sorta). Managed to get them to ship me a Free Bumper, whoop
Hmmm, not impressed that they are giving them away, yet I paid £25 on launch day
If this is going to be the case then I am going to write a complaint to Apple and see what they say.
