Wow, don't open that can of worms here!

There shouldn't be a problem with games capped at 60FPS as long as they're not intensively competitive online shooters.

well i got a 120hz screen and would like to check out 3d in the future and i read 120 fps would be nice for 3d

CoD pack is an awesome price, considering I bought CoD1, CoD UO, CoD2, CoD4, CoD5 & CoD6 on release it really is an awesome saving!

Picked up Grid for £3 or something daft, wicked :cool:

For use with monitors that can output more than 60Hz (an accepted standard today). 120Hz monitors can display (without massive tearing or other issues) up to 120FPS and are also capable of 3D (as mentioned above). A lot of hardcore players state that using 100FPS+ yields advantages on the most competitive shooters such as Counter Strike et al. This is in terms of reaction times and so on. I think most ordinary guys and girls would have trouble getting any advantage from this. I believe some die hards still use CRT monitors because of the superior refresh rates in these circumstances (the ones who haven't bought a 120Hz flat panel that is).
 
I know nothing of such ^^ matters but surely the latency of your network connection is more critical than the frames per second?

Thanks guys, purchased it. At the end of the day it is only £1.49 and what can you get for that these days? lol

Only 55 minutes till we see how much more money Steam can squeeze out of me! :D

I got them all. Id give the game 78%, not brilliant but definatally worth £12 for everything, will be spending some good time with it.

In the current climate of games its well worth it.
Reminds me a bit of Hellgate London.
 
Yeah I got them all as well once I tried the game, really enjoying it and for the money it is excellent. I know if I don't get them all at this silly price I'll regret it.
 
Yes there will be a new set of prices today.

As for Borderlands DLC, the other two apart from the Mad Moxxi's Underdome are meant to be good.
