mine has arrived today at 6:30pm didnt even tnt did deliverys at that time. when i called tnt this after noon they said my parcel from foxconn should be with me in an hours time.

have hit a snag tho, my gaming rig which is my only windows pc has concked out:( so no activating for at the mo. why dont apple make i tunes for linux

Right, mine is with DPD and I have the tracking number for it, so its definitely on the way!

Did you order one in the end, or did Orange sort you out? :p
 
Ordered direct with Apple online ETA shipped by 14th July and just received despatch email.

We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 20.07.2010. Track your order

Hoping it's actually only going to take a couple days for delivery!
 
it prolly wont mine was 5 july but when i rang tnt yesterday they said it wasn't in country yet. was delivered at 6:30pm today tho. having just tried the tracking number on tnt web site shows they got 00:27 and had it out of the depot by 06:00
 
Finally received mine from Apple via TNT, loving the phone, he screen is excellent and the phone feels considerable in your hand. No yellow spots, no dropped calls and I am a lefty.

In terms of the signal strength, the very worst was inside my house where it went down to 1-2 bars but that's no different to my 3GS.

Mine was originally:

So not sure where that 20th Jul has come from, but just covering their back I should imagine, yours shouldn't be too far behind, seems they're getting them out a little ahead of schedule.

Won't it be ironic if i manage to get a White one before you get yours by just walking into the Apple store in a couple weeks' time?

Even though the guy on CS said they had some in stock that he could see on the system, the person who rang me back from the Sales team said they didn't have any. I told them what the CS chap said, and the lady told me that "he must not be looking at the right system as we have none whatsoever."

I then explained to them that you had ordered about an hour before, and had already received DPD shipping emails and so forth. Again, I was mistaken apparently as they didn't have any.

Order cancellled. I'm really not impressed by Orange and their unholy lack of customer service. I'll probably wait it out until Tesco/o2 get hold of them and switch across.

Did you get your second one out of interest?

Have you received your's now? I ordered a 16gb on the 30th and phoned twice today asking when mine is coming and keep getting told there are none in stock and the online shop is wrong and anyone ordering it will not get their phone....?

I ordered my 32GB one on the 24th and they said the exact same thing ever since. Cancel the order and re-order it online like Robbo did, chances are they'll magically find one for you and get it shipped. Don't even bother with speaking to Orange about it, they'll give you the run around until they can be bothered to actually send you one out (which at this rate might be never).

FYI there are plenty of Orange upgrades available in London

tbh i never tried Orange retail stores. i went to the last two remainding o2 store in London that had 32GB units but by the time i got there by about midday they were all allocated to people in the queue so i went roaming around Carphonewarehouse and Phones4u. which a decent amount of stock in each 16/32 and mostly Voda and Orange. In the end i was sick of waiting/looking around as ive been without an iPhone for over 2 months and got myself a new contract with Vodafone which connects 2moro. Shame really as Tesco 12 monther is the cheapest and best way to go about getting the iPhone 4 on contract but getting hold of one has proved to be really difficult, let alone getting someone to answer on the other end of the phone.
