I haven't, however the carphone kit that HTC 'officially' sell is the Parrot one, so thats a good start
I really preferred Sparta 1.2 !
Everytime i flash a ROM it's a lottery to see if my internet connection with mobile data will actually work.
I have my APN settings written down from a previously working state, I can't get any connection at all with this ROM.
What keyboard does Sparta 1.2 use ? Is it the same in 1.3 ?

i have a LS3200 and a 3100 kit (wifes car) in mine it didnt sync the contacts on the stock orange rom, then when i debranded it and flashed different firmwares it worked great now on 2.2 with sense its not syncing anymore 
I had a £7 ebay plus point voucher
and got best offer of 8.49 so 1.49 i cant complain

Which 2.1 Roms have sense or am I having to go back to stock?
I've just installed DJ Droid Modified,
it's like stock but with 2.2, Flash and 720p
You need to ADB it to /system/app/
Thanks, had a hunch is was app2hd that was causing the problem, ill sort it out tomorrow.
I had a look at that but dont you need to update the radio as well?

Just got a desire, and when I text I have a whole bunch of contacts that have auto installed from facebook, or friendstream, phone numbers of people I dont talk to really. I don't want any of them, I would just prefer a simple system of numbers and names i've installed, without stupid facebook pictures and links etc
Anyway of turning that crap off.

You can turn off syncing of Facebook contacts in the Accounts and Syncing section of the settings which will prevent them being downloaded but you have to do it immediately that the account is setup before the syncing starts. I don't think you can easily remove them if they are already copied over unless you remove the Facebook account from the phone and re-add it.
Thanks I did that, removed the account and set it back up, then quickly jumped to the sync options and stopped it before it could do it, nice clean contacts page.

2.2 + Sense + the old apps2sd (stored on ext2) mod is up on XDA, will probably try it during a bout of insomnia tonight.
