Back to DJ and will flash the Battery % mod over it.

hi all can anyone confirm if I have the mobile widget displayed and set to "off" will this mean I 100% definately won't be downloading any data? I'm abroad you see!

Go to Settings -> Wireless & networks and make sure Mobile Network "Use phone for data connection when Wi-Fi is unavailable" is unticked.

The Widget should control this, but if you want to check.

thanks for the reply.

hmm, I can't see that option. Under neath "Wireless and networks" I see Mobile Network "connect to the internet" and it is unchecked? Can't see anything about a fall back for no WiFi though.....

That's the same option, the description underneath changes depending if it's on or off - so you know what ticking the box will do.

So yes, as you have it now - your phone won't use cellular data.

Now you are back to the DJ ROM (and anyone else that has the MODDED DJ ROM) -

Can you go into your calendars and see if the HTC Calendar is there. What I mean by this is, when you choose to add an event, can you add it to the "HTC Calendar" or is it just the Google calendar(s) and PC synch thats there ??

Appreciate if a few ppl could check this.

Ta

oh balls... why dont I have the HTC Calendar on this ROM :(

Will reflash and try again....

Edit: Jabbs - can you confirm that, when choosing what calendar to add it to (HTC, Google, PC Synch etc), you were able to select "HTC"

I just checked on mine now on dj droid and it's not there. Perhaps HTC Have adopted Google Calendar usage when synced with your Google account?

Just re-flashed and I still dont have HTC Calendar.

I am not sure if I should have it or if I am not explaining it very well. I have the calendar app on the phone as normal. WHen I say I am missing HTC Calendar I mean that I am missing the ability to use the phone's built in calendar i.e. NOT a google one or a PC synch or anything else, just the one thats attached to the phone only.

If you go into the Calendar app then choose "menu ---> more ---> calendars", what calendars do you have there.

All I have is the PC Synch one since I reflashed and havent synched with Google.

Do ppl using the Modded DJRom have the HTC entry on that page ??

Cheers ppl... Guess its not a mistake...

I reflashed to 1.15 to get access to my calendar but now Sense crashes when I use the People app

I am in the process of downgrading the radio back to the previous one. I would use the nandroid backup if it wasn't for me being stupid and forgetting to backup the nandroid image before partitioning the SD card for A2SD :o

Well thats not helping.

When I reboot the phone, it comes up about Handcent and Messaging force closing. Same happens with Sense when I go to the screen with my favourite contacts widget and also when I go into the phonebook... I guess something is borked with the contacts part.

Any ideas ??

Thats not my problem Zaf but its been answered anyways.

I cant seem to get 2.1 working without parts of sense crashing now so looks like I will be going back to DJROM... Thankfully I DID to a nandroid backup :)

BTW - where do I go to find out the storage space on my A2SD part of the SD Card... If I go to Storage, its the same as pre-Froyo
