Updated list again. If there is an overwhelming response to change the pub, ie more than just Fox, I could have a look around but its a good route and i'm not so local so don't know any others nearby.

Holiday Inn do tasty burgers on the bar menu, i think they are about a tenner.

We could drive up to London for afternoon tea in the Ritz. I can't comment on their burgers but the rest of the menu gets rave reviews.
