Just Cause 2

Got some plane from the black market and then i flew under water lol. Opened fraps really quick and recorded a few seconds of it, just before the last picture i went down a little lower and it stopped flying. Thought it was a little weird

And yes i was listening to that song while playing :p

Quite a fun little plane actually

Got my PC 360 controller working with this and it's much more relaxing to sit back and cause chaos!

Have been to the island top left and completed it on 360 but not PC as yet - am looking forward to it as it's great fun - very atmospheric!

Are the controls decent for the controller? I guess though i could change them, like im thinking you also need things for like blackmarket.. no idea what key that would be..
 
Ok so im considering buying this game becauase i loved GTA IV. I have a few questions before hand. I take it the saving system is almost identical to GTA, i,e you start a mission by going to place X ...but you mess up by killing person Y so mission ends & go back to place X again?

Also whats the "less psychic police" mod like? If i shoot someone, is the military gonna drop JDAM from a B-2 or just a few cops on patrol?

Controls are fine on the 360 pad, I hardly ever use mine for games but I do in JC2 because of the amount of driving you do. Everything it mapped, some things like rolling etc are actually easier to do on a controller.

Blackmarket and weapon switching are done with the D pad, BM for instance is down on the D pad and then Y.

^ Yeah works like that pretty much, as for the police, there are a lot of them about, you'll just get a few on bikes/jeeps on the 1st level, like the wanted system the more chaos you cause the higher it goes and the more police turn up.
 
just finished playing with this over the last few days on my brothers 360 and urgh, i heard about it being sandboxey and gta like but meh, it's mildly alright but nothing to write home about, game play is average but it feels kinda sluggish, driving, running, the parachuting and standing on 737 flying though the air is a nice touch but i aint wasting money on it :)
 
That would be because you were playing it on a console:) Please don't slate it until you have played it on a PC, this is the PC Games section afterall :)
 
HELP!!!!!111 I've just started playing this game but the damn military wont stop shooting at me. I finished the basic opening missions, climbed the skycraper etc ....then im free to explore.....fire my gun off.....THEN THE POLICE COME DOWN ON MY ASS! In GTA i just drove outside of the "dection zone" & the cops backed down. What do i do on this??

Oh yeah & do i create a dropzone folder on the install dir for mods to go?

oh sorry lol i didnt know it was made for the PC, it's hard keeping up these days, was it originally made for pc or console or what? i would try it on pc but dont have the specs just yet :(
 
It is one of the first if not the first game to not be designed for XP. It only works on vista and above. This seems to have had a good effect on the game because it runs very well even on low spec rigs, obviously not at full gfx.
