As Steve Jobs confirms that all smart phones loose signal when held in a certain way, how is everyone finding the issue with the Desire?

Not really had a major issue. I do lose WIRELESS signal if held in a certain way, but 2G is fine.
Anyone using defrost. 2 notice that your headphones don't work??
Mine work fine, including the ones with a mic on for calls and using the button on them to pause music/skip tracks
Edit: I get 45.49 in linpack

Is it possible to use other headphones for the radio? I find the ones that come in the box horrible. I haven't got any others to test so thought I'd ask.

Should be able to, the stock buds are just standard buds, nothing more or less
but dont the standard earphones act as a transmitter for the fm radio? which is what martin is referring too i think (correct me if im wrong
The wiring (The same in all earphones) act as the antenna.
I don't like the blue LED on DeFrost for text messages, Preferred the green.
Can i change that myself ?
Oh ! Transfer speeds are still shocking - 1.7 MB/s to SDCard !

Well, I even tried to Lineout to my car and it just wouldn't work. The music played back through the phones speaker
Just DeFrosted and included the 1267 UVOC but SetCPU is still showing as 998MHz max. Is there something else I need to do to enable UVOC?
edit - never mind, just realised I'd flashed the default DeFrost ROM, reflashed UVOC kernel and now OK.

Anyone looking for a cheap but nice dock (still) get the one mentioned earlier in the thread and DIY it a bit if you've got a dab hand 
I chopped the ugly flaps off my one's backplate (see below) and filed the corners for a smoother look, then placed 2 sticky backed rubber stoppers on each side (green arrows) as this stops the phone rocking left and right when docked (due to no longer having the flaps on the sides).
Looks much nicer.

Guys,
The last few nights my phone has died overnight, despite me charging it throughout most of the day sitting at my computer. Is it normal for the battery to be like this? It was not like it when i first got phone about a month ago yet now its dying overnight. I am using a live wallpaper (mario) but again been using that for weeks without an issue until now.
Should i be reporting the phone as dodgy or is there something i am missing?

)That's kinda snazzy! I should really get a dock, it would look much nicer, then again I'm still yet to get a banana stand for my headphones
