could have been a port issue?

Rubbish, won't work on my system. Eventually connected to a game after 4 attempts of it just hanging. I spectated until a new round. Got to the kit selection, selected my kit and was ready to go. Then it crashed to the main menu.
Now it won't load any games.

That sucks. I'm getting a few "CTM's" when playing too. Highly annoying, they were mostly when I was about to complete a level too..so I'm guessing I lost my exp from them.

I'm finding games fine, the only problem is there seems to be horrific lag at certain parts (the one where you follow bloodhound and stay in the light)

I have never liked steam but over the past year or so I have come to enjoy it.

I think there is one catch and that's people will have to install steam to get and use the game therefor in the long run it increase the chance of people installing steam who haven't all ready and then in the future making further purchases.

That and I think steam can monitor how many people use steam and hardware being used so its just another way to get statistics?.

any who game looks great im in :)

Yep that's right, every now and then Steam will ask you if it can look at your hardware and then you can see a break down of what hardware every single Steam user has. It's actually very interesting and Valve uses it to gauge how their games should be built performance-wise. L4D and Ep3 was built with the knowledge in mind that the most popular video cards at the time were 8800s and 6800s and the like.

Does anyone elses game screen shake like **** when you get attacked?

I think it might be because of the new Nvidia drivers I just installed.... sigh!
