I doubt we'll see it until Apple push 10.6.4a/10.6.5/graphics drivers out en masse, Valve won't put their head on the block again over performance issues when it's quite clearly Apple's doing.
Which is a shame, because I'm really looking forward to a good blat on L4D/2.
I don't know why they haven't given us Day of Defeat: Source, I miss that game!
Been playing CS:S recently and I'm just shockingly bad, I've certainly lost my mojo with that game, and having spent 3 solid years playing it I wonder if I'll ever get it back!
Obviously playing with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse are a big no no! The Control button needs to be in the corner for ducking etc, this is where Apple keyboards suck!
I downloaded Day of Defeat: Source last night and it runs pretty well on my 17" iMac. However I am very very bad at this game! Does anyone know if there are any servers out there for beginners?
Also looking at getting TF2 soon, but I assume I will be just as bad at that!!
I had the same problem (used to play dod so much when source was first out) me and a mate used to play it as 1 on 1 sniper death match last year which improved out skills a fair bit as we learnt the maps and guns a bit before getting slaughtered. Plus it was so tense him on his mac one side of the living room and me on the other with my screen angled so he couldnt quite see....
For tf2 its purely practice and learning the levels a bit, eventually it all clicks into place a bit
Im adding this to my server list!! ill play mainly as steam never seems to let me retrieve the server lists at the moment and i have no idea how to fix it...
