Any tips as to how to survive a zerg rush as 'toss? They seem to arrive in a group of about 6 when my first unit spawns, he then gets obliterated and they take out mah drones :(

I did try to use probes, but annoyingly he kept kiting them (if that's the correct term for a RTS?). So i was left with a choice of leave my probes chasing him, or attempt to mine minerals, during which he'd come back in and lay a couple of attacks on my buildings. Eventually i just got bored and frustrated with constantly chasing his zerglings around as he gradually whittled my buildings down and starved me of resources so surrendered.

I had this 3 times in 2v2's last night, won 2 and lost 1. I'll upload the replays so you can see how I deal with it as Terran.

Terran are particularly vulnerable to this as the SCVs building barracks invariable get targeted.

That would be awesome, thanks.

Another random question for the table. Am i being boring playing as 'toss? It seems 90% of the online population play as them, worried i've accidentally fallen into a lame-trap.

Whilst it's tip day - any tips on how to do a zerg rush properly? I seem to be too slow getting the lings out. Played against some guy yesterday that had around 10 out whilst I was still researching. :(

It's ridiculously easy, build one drone at the start, wait until you have 200 minerals, build a spawning pool, when it's done build 6 zerglings, and rally them at your opponents base. Just keep building build 2 more when the next larvae pops out, and an overlord with the next one and just keep building more until you win.

In my last 20 games I have played against about 14 Protoss, 5 Terran and 1 random. Weird. Maybe I should stop playing as Terran and move to Protoss. A large number of the top 200 players are Protoss too. Hmm...

Much larger number are Terran.

This is either fails miserably or you win the game in 3 minutes. Utterly boring IMO.

What is the quickest way to cannon rush? I have won a few by simply Building a pylon and forge next to the enemy command center. While this is happening, I push out a few probes. By the time the force is complete, I start on the cannons. A marine ususally pops out before the cannon is finished, but not in time to save them.

Interesting tactic. You got a replay rave?

Some dude tried that yesterday but he failed. Interested to see how you managed it.

From what i've experienced, someone trying to use cannon rush on me falls flat on their arse the moment i turn my probes on their pylon while it's building. They easily destroy it before a cannon can be built.
