ORDER NOW

The bad news guys, we've only had 60pc arrive, stock is incredibly short on this item, but once again we are the first in the UK. Nathwraith is gonna be testing one of these tomorrow to see what they can really do. All backorders will ship tomorrow and anyone wishing to come in and collect please do so after 2pm as our warehouse is still extremely busy and is 24hrs behind on booking in of stock. Really looking forward to seeing some 1000MHz plus core speeds from this baby. :D :D :D :D

Bad price for the top quality product. Their RRP is $225, they should be selling at £190 but obviously they aren't due to supply shortages or whatever you call it. Can recommend it only to hardcore overclockers who really want to compete against other 460s...

The RRP is not $225.

The trade cost to UK distributors/Etailors buying 100's of reference GTX 460's is $205 for standard reference design and that is before you add shipping and retailor markups.

I can tell you now our cost on this is above $225 and thats not because MSI are marking up.

If you have a link that says this is $225 please post it as be interesting to see what MSI say as its definetely somekind of mistake when NVIDIA reference board cost is $205. I'd expect retail price of this to be more like $255 even in the US.

A great card no doubt but slightly misleading calling it a 'super OC 1000Mhz core card', IMO.

When did 780 = 1000? Maybe needs a re-jigg with the wording there.

Well i think he meant, by default it's OC but if you "super OC" it they have been seen to hit 1000mhz core speed

and no it can't be returned if you read the description "- Core Speed: 780MHz (Beyond 1000MHz possible but not guaranteed)"

IMO £224 is simply too much for a GTX460, heavily overclocked or not.

It's nearly £50 more than the Asus GTX460 which is also known to be an excellent overclocker.

Heck its only slightly cheaper than 2 OCUK Value GTX460 768mb cards. Whilst this does bring with it possible SLI issues it also gives you a lot more performance as long as you don't run out of memory.
