Guy becoming teacher - used to be teaching assistant and was accused...

Just found out through my gf something that clings at massive heartstrings to me and probably to many of you.

She use to go to a very small primary school, years ago now, the school is even smaller now and almost shut down at one point.
Reason for this being that there were accusations towards a teaching assistant by multiple girls of inappropriate conduct, some of the more serious stuff is pretty sickening.
This destroyed the reputation of the school, and many parents took their children elsewhere.

For some reason this was never taken to the police, even though there were multiple accusations, blame has been put at the governors for the lack of police involvement.

Now this imo is bad enough, thankfully it never affected my gf, he was there whilst she was, but the events occurred after she left. A few of her friends and friends of the family were involved though, so hits home hard.

Then a few weeks ago the gf and met one of her old teachers and got talking. Gf then added her on facebook, and found this old teaching assistant as a "friend" on the teachers facebook. This teacher was aware of what happened, so the initial anger was at why they were "friends" as she is also still a teacher.

Investigating his facebook, he is now at college (planning uni after) to become a primary school teacher himself...

Obviously outraged about this, and would love some input on who to talk to/what to do about what seems like something so unbelievably wrong. Am massively concerned for anyone he could come into contact with in the future.

Would be nice if GD could stay away from "burn the pedo" etc, looking for advice as never been in this situation before and have no idea what to do or who to speak to.

He was never prosecuted... based on a bunch of allegations from some school girls you cant go and make a ****fest of this guys life now.


I understand where your coming form but tbh there is nothing you can do what if he didnt do any of what you have told us maybe there was a reason why he didnt get proscecuted.
 
Firstly, join the police force, then investigate him thoroughly, then prosecute.. Then use this to confirm your opinion, and come back and we'll go from there.
 
Not my place to say whether it was true or untrue, and for the advice I am looking for it doesn't really matter.

The police were never involved, it wasn't a case of no prosecution/charges being laid.

He quit his job over the allegations, from what I have been made aware of the school just wanted to get rid of all of it and not have the reputation tarnished.

I can see why they would want to do that, but him doing this now with unsorted allegations hanging around seems plain wrong.
 
I don't mean to sound rude but you should mind your own business. An accusation like this can ruin someone's life and you have zero proof to support those claims.
 
These kinds of allegations are extremely serious and ruins peoples' lives irrevocably. If the man in question was never charged, you have absolutely no right to even utter such loaded words.

If you're going to go on some sort of crusade about this man, tread lightly, because you will shatter him for the rest of his life and there is a good chance he is innocent. It would appear to me that you are already absolutely and thoroughly convinced though... god have mercy on the poor *******.
 
There was a certain young lady at a school i worked out who repeatedly made accusations against male members of staff. A number were suspended while investigations were carried out. No evidence was ever discovered, but for the rest of her time at the school she had to be escorted everywhere by either one female member of staff, or two males.
 
And where have I said I am about to go on a "crusade" to ruin his life?

Merely asking about the proper channels that any inquiries should be made...

Not about to go shouting things around, he may very well be innocent, but isn't it best proved...
 
He wasn't even investigated! Claims like these have and will continue to ruin innocent peoples lives.

Innocent until proven guilty and all that...

I didn't think innocence had to be proven in this country, guilt perhaps...

Do you have a specific evidence ? Or just this third hand stuff from years ago ?
 
Well unless you're asking to be hooked up with a contract killer, I guess you'll be going to the police?. Just be careful that you're not wasting police time, and ruining an innocent guys life.. Karma's a bitch.

You're right. Come to think of it, I've never been proved innocent of molesting children, rape, murder, theft, arson, sale of a controlled substance, driving under the influence...................

I better get down the nick and turn myself in, just to be safe.
