Recettear!

10% off if you pre order!

As someone that just called in sick (I am actually sick :p) it saddens me that this is still 10 hours away from release.

And it's number 2 on the sales chart, heh :). Shame I won't get to play it before Saturday evening though.

I'm not too far into the second week but the game's already had me 'lol'ing at it twice!

Only problem is what to do dungeon wise!
I have Louie at Lv15 but Charme is only at Lv8. Enemies in the amber garden are all Lv8, so Charme isn't really viable as an option for adventuring there, but I want to try using her, and the jade way seems like it won't have good enough loot now. Oh, what to do :3

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I have a rather poor 512kbps Finnish DNA wireless... wish i had my home 8mb broadband.

I'm thinking of fireing up the demo again while it dl's ><
Do that as you can transfer your save - so you wont lose any time

Demo Savegame Transfers said:
If you wish to transfer a savegame from the demo version of Recettear to the retail version, do the following:
1) Open up the folder containing the Recettear demo (Program Files/Steam/steamapps/recettear - demo if the demo was installed via Steam).
2) Select "save.dat" and "_save.dat". (Multiple items can be selected by holding ctrl down while clicking them.)
3) Queue the files for copying (ctrl-c).
4) Open up the folder containing your Recettear retail installation (Program Files/Steam/steamapps/recettear).
5) Copy the save data files into the retail Recettear folder (ctrl-v). Remember that you'll overwrite any saves made before the copying!

Its quick to get though - I got 40k by day 10 as you tend to get a load of things customers want to sell cheap...

Only problem is that Im still with Louie - was hoping to change adventurer by now

Lucky for some, i think i made a hash of my 2nd week. Only had 6k left after payment day, then it suddenly jumped upto 80k and i knew i wasn't gonna make it. Wound up 9k short. My own fault, i stupidly didn't go to the shops to buy things when the prices were down ><

its decent though only took me about 30 mins to get bored and play other games will get be playing it again though :D

I was up til 4am playing it - you tell me :p

If i hadn't of failed on 80k i might've been too :D

going to play the demo of this is it worth £13 tho?

Well that depends if you find the demo entertaining or not for a casual game. It is a little expensive but its great fun and there are games that cost more and offer a lot less... Think of it along the lines of Trine. Was quite expensive for what it was but it was worth every penny for the joy of playing it.
