Ok, so this probably isn't the typical everyday game that we over in the UK play, however, give the little (75mb) demo a go, it seems to be a little gem of a game :).

Basically it's a English translation of a Japanese game that done pretty well over there (apparently). You run a Item Shop, you know the ones from all those RPG's, but this time your the vendor.

Now personally I don't tend to go anywhere near anything that looks like this (Anime), but after reading the Rock Paper Shotgun article I gave it a go, and it's very good :).

Your very first item shop!

You can run a random dungeon to get some gear to sell or buy it from a market / wholesaler.

If your a bad shop keeper then you end up in a box :(

Managed to find the original Japanese opening.

Available around August from what I gather.

Its been getting quite a bit of press over the past few days with gaming blogs. A lot of people seem to be pleasantly surprised by how much they enjoy it once they give it a go, haven't heard a bad word about it yet :).

No set release date at the moment, but they are aiming for the back end of August with a bit of luck, if not soon after . The translating team are just sorting out distribution I think.

Ha! Just played through the demo and loved it, gonna pick this up when it comes out. I suspect me the weekly targets will become a bit of a grind, and there's a few customers I already hate, but a great game to idle over, for sure!

Yeah, I barely made it the first time around! Then again, I was still learning, died a couple of times doing dungeons which cost me a lot of time. Reached the last say, and only had about 4k, but a few fairly good items in the shop. Ran out to the guild hall, bought all the expensive things and put them in the window, managed to finish the day with 10,415 money XD

Also, I just discovered something while reading the SA forums. The 'company' that is translating this game has been started by a couple of goons! People who would actually know about gaming, rather than a faceless company just doing it to make money.

I mean, of course you would expect them to make money, but the fact its some people more down to earth pleases me more. Though their agreement with the game's creators means they get less than 50% of the profits from teh sale of the game.

Then again, it should still be a huge chunk of cash.

Ahead of BFBC2 but the new Magic: The Gathering game has slipped in, still 4th :). Amazing to think that it's competing with the big boys atm.
