Well this is what i see:

the guide in this secton isn't too detailed for beginners like me who have no clue to what goes where. I have a damn load of cables and I cant understand how most are gonna be used. The fans are seriously confusing me as they're really isn't anywhere for them to be plugged into :/

(Bottom left, are they put together right? and should i just do that all the way up and link it together on the second cable that is split off of it.)

(White into black? even though it doesn't have a pin there? or is that something to do with the black cable lack a red cable in the black cable)

(These are for the front buttons? and the small grid they go into. I don't know how they go in , text up/down?)

(Area highlighted by the red ring, where does it go?)

(Please refer to each image number so I have a better understanding of what you're talking about xD)

Any help to linking to IN-DEPTH tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

image4, refer to your motherboard manual to see where they go on the motherboard.

your missing pwr LED from that lot.

image5 you need a 8pin pcie into that GTX480 also(may come as a 6+2pin), cant make out that red circled thing?

Will do , and I'll look for that Pwr LED, maybe i missed it.

Image 5 the cable highlighted, connects to that PCI-E cable and don't know where it goes.

some basics.

the motherboard needs a 24pin atx connector and a 8pin atx connector(sometimes these come as 20+4pin and 4+4pin)

the hard drive needs a sata data and sata power cable.

the ide optical drive needs a molex and that ribbon cable.

the GTX480 needs a 8pin pcie(6+2pin) and the trailing 6pin pcie plugged into it from the same cable from the psu.

You would use the extra two pins to turn it from the 6-pin connector you have plugged in, into an 8-pin connector as required to the left of the one you have used.

Bit of a MESS here!

Frankly - you should wait for the CPU and cooler to arrive and fit these to the Motherboard along with the RAM before fitting into the case. it just makes life easier. especially if you are going to use a after market cooler which 80% of the time needs a plate fitted to the rear of the MB

Are you SURE that the RAM is dual channel and not triple channel?

Anyway

Deleted - DOOOOOHHHH

REMOVE the other side cover

Take out your graphics card - just to give a bit more room to get in and around

Feed the cables that are fixed to the PSU (normal a big 20/24 pin connector and the 8 pin ATX connector out through the largest slot on the bottom of the case and get them out of the way

Where are you based?

Unless you are using older IDE drives remove that wide blue ribbon type cable and throw in the corner for now....

Ram is dual channel and ive read the manual and set it up for how they said it should be.

IDE went just after i took the pics.

Ill take out the graphics card now, as for 24 pin PSU cable ive already tried that and its really tight to get it to the MB through the back.

What do you mean, where am I based?

Front room table xD?
Stevenage?

The rear 2 and top fan have black molex 4 pin connectors .... feed these out of the top left most access hole to the rear

the front 3 fans have the same connectors.. carefully get these out of the rear side as well.

Hopefully you should have at least 2 modular cables with 3 x molex connectors on them.?

Fit these and feed out the back of case through the same hole as your power cables.
1 cable to the rear for the back and top fans the other to the front for front fans and optical drive.

You can daisy chain these connectors ( 1 to another or singles)

showing the rear... a bit more cluttered and I have 1 of my SSD's hiding out here... but you can see the molex connectors running down both sides for the fans

Hmm that 24 pin PSU to MB cable really isnt log enough for me to be tucking around the back of the case.

Also , about HDD, I've got one blue cable on it linked up to the motherboard, does it need power?
