Codemasters F1 2010 X360/PS3 (contains important question about 2011 game!!!)

Hermann Tilke bore tracks... Valenica and Thailand will be the ones I'll have to practice harder with. Never raced on them. I've raced Singapore using GP4 2009 mod. Its tricky but the track has some tall skyscrapers in the background and overpasses to help, and the pit straight is long, the corner entering into the pits is a bugger though, its tight...

if I see an Renault stuff into the wall at Singapore- its team race fixing... lol

Monaco is easy enough to drive around, overtaking not so easy lol never really found a game where the tunnel light is as blinding as the real deal, see how codemasters fair with it, from videos not too well, moncao Rascasse in F1 2010 looks very good though.

Spa is where its at. Excellent track, run down Eau Rouge after trying not to overdrive coming out of La Source heading towards the pit straight onto the excellent and breathtaking Eau Rouge is just pure racing bliss..

Indeedy, I'm never managed to nail Pouhon properly but the rest of Spa I'm reasonbly confident with. I still miss the old Hockenheim though :(
 
I'd be up for it, but you'd have to post settings / car / drivers so we all have a level playing field to work with.

Pointless setting a fastest time in a Red Bull if someone picks Lotus :p

Some good and encouraging info.

car handling on the hard level is as real as you can get, especially of you're using a steering wheel and pedals.

yes they sound exactly like the 2010 season cars. The main amazing point about this game is just how realistic it is!!

First proper reviews online Thursday and Friday :)
 
Well my wheel came today and GEEZ what a diffrence im crashing all over the shop im glad i don't drive like that in real life :D though i am playing a DEMO of Grid which i never liked

Try with Forza with all the assists off... Will be the closest to F1 2010 on hard lol.

Although, I have never used a wheel and find hard AI on forza a breeze with the controller. Not to mention I am in the top 1% of most tracks times with all assists off apart from TCS with a controller so lets hope I can transfer those skills to F1 2010.

Grid never seems to handle amazingly well for me. Dirt 2 is much improved, so I hope F1 2010 is better again.
