I just downloaded the demo from the PS Store and I really enjoyed it. It's loosely based on Journey to the West and though it doesn't add much to the action adventure genre, it does play well.

The story seems interesting and I'm looking forward to it. My only concern that is that it is being released at the same time as other big titles and will not be as commercially successful as I think it should be. Try out the demo and see for yourself.

The demo reminded very much of Uncharted. Similar kind of gameplay, jumping, climbing on pipes, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Whizzing through the skies of Manhattan certainly felt epic in parts and the other locations in the game (shown at the end) look equally as stunning.

Any news on which platform this is likely to be better on. I currently have it pre-ordered on 360, but given Heavenly Sword was PS3 only it may be a better bet on PS3.

Yeah, the developers took a lot of things from the Uncharted series, which is a good thing. There were parts where I had my mouth open during the demo. The amount of detail that's been put in is amazing.

gonna fire this up on the ps3 now :D

Yeah its not too bad at all good graphics (not on Uncharted2 level) - quite like the combat. Though the jumping bits feel more like prince of persia (the newbie one). I like the set pieces though - the end was quite epic :)

Just played the demo of this on the Xbox 360 and loved it. I agree with the comparisons to Uncharted. Graphics are excellent and the modelling and texturing looks very very good.

Release date of Oct 5th so not long to go.

I'd recommend anyone with an Xbox to try the demo out, think it's a 1.1gb download.

Tried the demo and have to say just based on the demo this game stinks. The graphics are terrible (Heavenly Sword looks better), bloody U3 engine is garbage.

How ******* good was that demo  Can't believe I've heard nothing about this, liked the characters, animation is lovely. Can't wait for the full game!!

I didnt like it :( , jus seems like a bad copy of uncharted to me and jus really not fun to play? Seems like am the only who thinks this tho :p

Just played the demo and, well let me put it this way, if it keeps up that kind of standard all the way through this could be the Beyond Good and Evil of this generation.

By this i mean it's just a fantastic game but its totally gone under the radar. I love it when a game comes along and surprises you like this, the lack of hype makes it all the more enjoyable.

Now... do i preorder? I want to, no doubt, but i can see it being a game that plummets in price very quickly.

How are the graphics in any way terrible? Yes, it UE3, and the first few starting screens do look like it is, but the outdoor scenes (admittedly from watching some videos of it) look stunning.

Only issue I have graphically is that the vsync tearing is a bit bad in places, but that just seems to be something you have to put up with on console these days.

Better than Heavenly Sword? No (and I only played that for the first time a few months back after getting my PS3).
