My brother just phoned been in hospital all night on drips.
Someone spiked his drink. Was out with his mates had 1 drink and then started convulsing puking all over the place and next thing he knew was in hospital with no idea what happened.

Damn scary stuff they think it was GHB due to the convulsing and so on. I am just glad he was out with friends and that they had only just started so knew he couldn't be drunk straight away.

So just be careful and remember to cover your drinks :(

He was out with a bunch of women from his work so Im thinking they where the target? but hey you never know

Pointless thread.
I started a similar thread a couple of years ago when I found my daughter lying down in the middle of the road here http://goo.gl/maps/t09y and nobody believed it.

Bad stuff bud :( but hey if even one person remembers to cover there drinks and stops thinking im a bloke it wont happen to me then the 2 mins it taken to write it was worth it. ( but I can see why sometimes you think why bother in here)

I imagine allot of people do drink too much and think there spiked. But not someone who was there 20 minutes and had 1 drink.

But hey don't let me sharing a horrifying experience my brother just had put a downer on your scepticism.

I wonder what percentage of people who beleive they were spiked simply drunk too much...

99.9%? Everytime I hear someone thinks they got 'spiked' it involves heavy vomiting, surely you wouldn't use a drug that does that and instead use a tranquiliser/anesthetic? one even as basic as ketamine?

It's a shame when an excuse for being sick was that your drink was spiked.

My aunt was drugged at 18 in Ibiza. Had one drink, ten minutes later she just collapsed on her chair. They then carried her back to the hotel and she slept for almost 24 hours before taking her to the hospital to find out what drug it was. Scary stuff.
