Need some guidance over what I can do.

I live in a col-de-sac and there are kids consistently playing around and kicking the ball around. Now I've seen the ball go under cars and they've run around the neighbour cars and etc. There is a park nearby and I dont know why they dont mess around there.

Other col-de-sacs in the area have no ball signs and I dont know why we get the **** end of the stick with this issue. Asking the kids to play elsewhere isn't going to be a solution as they will only come back later in the day.

What in my right do I have to stop them playing on the street?

A lot of parks are either packed, covered in crap [literally and figuratively] or full of chavs.

None?

If you have a complaint speak to their parents, but unless they are causing damage just suck it up.

No, don't 'live with it' as others say.

I have the same problem around here and it's bloody annoying. Balls being kicked against house walls and kids screaming at the top of their voices. The thing is that there's a park literally 20 seconds walk being the houses.

There's also a 'No ball games' sign where the kids play. I'm on the verge of doing something about it myself.

It's the typical 'leave them to it' attitude from parents that cause the amount of scummy youths that are around these days.

Do something about it I'd say. :)

Its not really something to live with - kids in the street with a ball... the street is for cars and people using the pathway to walk. Park is for play!

Peoples attitude would change if the ball dents your car, smashes your window of your car house etc etc.

Prevention is better than cure

I used to play in the street as a kid. All the kids down my street did during summer. It was a good way to get to know the neighbours. If they're not causing any harm then let them be.

That's not quite what's happening, though. Granted, if there's a sign up and they're kicking the ball off walls, or near to windows, and screaming late at night, you'rd probably be well within your rights to do something about it. As it is, the biggest risk they pose is running around OP's car or, worst case scenario, looking under it to retruieve a lost ball. Unless he's got a dead hooker tangled in his chassis, I don't see what the problem is.
