Just purely a place to vent or brag!

I've just had my VIVA (an interview about my masters dissertation) in which I have just had my work torn to shreds, partly rightly and partly unfairly. So just feeling a bit :( at the moment wondering if I'll pass *sigh*

So How's your day been?

I've sat at my desk and mashed f5 on these forums all day

possibly done a tiny bit of config work on our managed service platform but that was literally 5-10mins work

Quite slow and borning. I've not been sleeping well recently so the days are dragging a little.

Other than that I've had a fantastic day!
 
Am bored as anything. :( Might play some F1 if i can get the girlfriend off Red Dead Redemption without invoking tears or anger...

On the plus side ive had a pork shoulder on the bbq since 12 which should be lovely and delicious by about 10pm :)
 
It's been OK, had a headache throughout most of it. Found out I have to pay backdated tax, so it's pretty awful. Was trying to save to take the missus on holiday. Now £440's coming out on tax. Add another few weeks on to our departure date.

This. Done some site layout work but had almost zero motivation all day.

Now my housemate tells me he has left a gargantuan pile of washing up for me to do when I get in.... wunderbarrrrrrrrr :(
 
My day is going great :)

Woke up at half 7, had a bit before i went to the gym, come back at 12, slept, woke up and got a bit again ;) now just resting nicely before i hit the sack tonight for maybe a bit more ;)
 
I upgraded my phone's firmware, customised it a bit more, researched some stuff for work, wrote a training document, posted on this forum, posted on another forum, browsed the latest blackberry phones (work related), did the daily server maintenance run, helped myself to food in the kitchen (samosas, veg wraps).

Filled out VISA application form for my trip in November, oh yeah, I also downloaded some TV ready to watch when I get home. RDP *** \m/.

A good day has been had.
 
Mine has been good. I've got lots done, and tonight I'm doing the photography at the rehearsals for a fashion show which will result in lots of photos of girls with not a lot on.
 
It's been fairly average today. The only things of note have been the cancellation of a preview we were going to, a book arrived that I’d forgotten about and I got an email bargain offer that I couldn’t refuse.
 
Sat on these forums, played a bit of BC2, applied for a job, drunk tea, ate a salad, drunk more tea. That is about it.

Oh, and some kind soul made me a new sig which bumps up my day from what would have been a 04/10 to a 06/10.
 
aww man, i remember my Dissertation VIVA! a nightmare. no matter how friendly you are with them lecturers, they turn on you like a lion on steak!
 
Hygienist this morning, then doing maintenance on some machines. Could find a grease gun thats works properly and trying to fill the thing up to grease.
 
Fantastic, woke up at 12:30, internet came at 1, checked my timetable and don't have to go in to uni until Friday. I am a happy happy panda :)
