If you haven't bought the parts yet, I really think you should consider the i5 760 overclocked to 4.0GHz bundle (£399.99):

Tangent: Interesting.. DDR3 has really come down in price!
Kinda a shame, as the initial point seemed to be keeping the PC for several year's as is. Don't get me wrong, the bundle is great... but I wonder if *shudder* buying a better CPU for the existing board would be the cheaper option? (Obviously not the best performing option though!!) - Have no idea what CPU's his motherboard will support though!!

In your case, because you got a high end motherboard, I really think you should just toss a Quad such as Q6600 or Q9550 onto it (and overclock). It will last you until you upgrade the graphic card to beyond GTX480 ish.

I don't have an option to choose for QUAD CORE, As I don't have a compatible motherboard. If you read my earlier post i've mentioned it.

So true. To be honest, I managed to get that board cheap for what it was, from a member here, the e4300 which I bought brand new. Yes, I need a better chip, but was thinking e8400 to overclock. (although I've been offered an e6850 cheap).nJoyo.. if you are ok spending the money then great, just wasn't keen to get your all running around spending cash, then realise you got caught up in the moment and scewed yourself over. Any of the suggested new systems will absolutely destroy* your old one though.
