Can someone make me a quick pole please?

When it's raining,

a: I drive with the rear wiper on
b: No, I dont drive with the wiper on
c: I dont even have a rear wiper

I have been noticing this a lot more recently, but when it's raining I drive with my front wipers on (speed dependant on conditions) but i never use the rear wiper and infact my last car didnt have one.

As the driver of the car behind someone with their rear wiper on full pelt (whilst even my fronts were on intermittant) it becomes really off putting. Also IMO physics would dictate that once clear, the view through the rear window would not become compromised because of the direction of travel.

Anyways, yup its another motoring gripe thread.

I never have it activated for periods of time, just for one activation to clear the screen. Then I may do it a few minutes later.

Depends. In light rain its not an issue. But in heavy rain, especially on the motorway the vortex of spray turns the rear window opaque quite clearly, so A).

C. I barely have a rear window.

When I drive a car with a rear wiper, it only gets used for 1 wipe at a time usually after I've been stationary for a while and rain has collected on the rear window.

I also hate the waging tail look when it is on constant use.

about the the only time mine comes on is if the front wipers are on and I select reverse the rear one comes on

Well you only really need one if you have a hatch because of the vortex created, but mine is buggered so I can't use it :(

I find it hilarious that people have their rear wipers on full tilt, even more so when its not even raining ;)

I will pulse mine (sorry magimix terminology!) in heavy rain probably once every few minutes just to clean the road muck off the rear window

When it's raining heavily I'll have it on all the time, if only light rain then every once in a while.

I wish I had one on my saloon, purely to demist quickly,my car takes ages to demist and im very much a turn the key and go kind of bloke!
