There is a big difference. Fox posts much more quality posts and probably in a much quicker fashion than this scrub dannyjo22 could ever hope to achieve.

I'm sorry but what exactly is your problem

Have I insulted your boyfriend or something

My point, which sadly seems to have gone over your IQ level is that because his posts are well constructed that they would take longer than 20 seconds to reply. He doesn't strike me as someone to just spam a quick response.

hurfdurf is amazing. He keeps posting about this elite motors' club...I get the impression that if there was one, the members would set up another bogus one and put hurfdurf into it on his own to keep him happy, like the retarded kid with the playdough in the corner of the classroom.

Don't forget, Ed Milliband is a clueless commie union lacky ...but somehow Diane Abbot manages to make him look like a veritable genius. Oh and Labour are resposible for 'everything' bad that happens in this country and Gordon Brown was the Devil.

He's coming out, he's coming ...Fox is coming out.

Sorry, very juvenile, but we all have our moments :p

Now see I'm just posting because at this moment in time I really don't have anything better to do, well I do but it's stuff that I don't really want to do.

Wow, you really do post an almighty amount of crap, don't you.

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?". Gospel of Matthew 7:3.

Firstly, I never claimed that I was any different.

Secondly, the bible is a load of rubbish, therefore your post is null and void.

Not really, it's not like he's a girlfriendless saddo who never goes out. He's done a US road trip and been to Australia in the past year alone hasn't he? How long does it seriously take to post on a forum - this has taken me about 20 seconds.

Taking 20 seconds as an average and taking consideration that they were posted over 8 years over 23 days is still a hell of a lot of time to dedicate to expressing your opinion to the internets.

around 69 hours a year spent writing/posting according to my crap maths

+1

He has no life. I can't even imagine how or why anyone would spend that much time being so bitter let alone spending his entire life on OcUK. The poor chap needs help not a salute.

It's all the little mini me's that he's cloned that are tiresome, desperate to fit in and be as popular ;)

Exactly mate. They're even worse, it still baffles me how worked up they get over unimportant subjects that relate to them in no way what so ever. I guess they might be defending their beloved one. Janesy... MeJinks... MrLOL!! HAHA!

By the "mini-mes" that he's "cloned", I assume you mean myself and others that care to call him our friend? You generally tend to find that groups of friends have similar interests and often share fairly similar views.

I've been speaking with Mike off the forums for as long as I've posted here, see him a few times a year and have had him and others back to my home on a few occasions. Indeed I've lived with two other "clones" for about 18 months. I can assume you if this were some kind of front or act to get people's backs up and we did not genuinely share these same views and interests we'd have not become such good friends.

My thoughts:

A) Far too much knowledge on tedious aspects of specifcations that no one else cares about
B) An inability to realise that some people buy with their hearts rather than with sensible economic rationality behind their decision(s).
C) An essential part of Motors forum.

Favourite fail moment, having to admit crashing the 530i. Never nice to hear of someone crashing but driving skill fail always brings grim reality to life.
Onwards and upwards fella, how long till 200k?

/edit: That's from many years on OCUK forums, probably from near the start.

Willgill: Thanks for the CDR's all those years ago, hope you enjoyed the episodes of Dawsons Creek! :)

Ive always thought hes a bit of a twonk but I actually respect and agree with a lot of his posts. So fair play.

Kudos Fox

Re. Fox

A bit like a fine wine, it takes the right kind of person to appreciate :)

As someone brought up, and still living in a very working-class ex-mining area, Fox and his overtly middle-class attitude is something that should grate on me.

However, the fellow is straight-talking, dry, to-the-point and isn't scared to say exactly what he thinks.

Can't fault that at all.

For all the ambiguity and smoke and mirrors that the internet can create regarding someone's persona, he seems to me to be a regular guy with a bit of an obsession with his motors.

What better kind of person to frequent a forum like this?

Tell that to the 1 billion + Catholics of this world. ;)
Lol at all the bitching going on in this thread, you'd think this forum could keep it civil in this thread at least.

I like Fox. Though I think he either disliked me or was scared of me at the southern motors meet/rolling road.

Integer limit, isn't it?

EDIT: It can't be, it's not a power of 2.

Strangely the integer limit can be added to by posts :/
