***The X-Factor Thread - ALL X-Factor Related Stuff In Here***

Gamu and Matt are probably my favourites so far. Think that changing the over-25's to over-28's was a mistake tho - it now seems that the over 28's are one of the weakest groups. Somewhere in the middle, 26 or 27, might have been better.

There were 3 guys I can think of who were 26 or 27 and would have been directly competing with the boys. And from who they picked for the overs they wanted that category to be more distinctively "older"

The painter/decorator bloke stands out at the moment, very good voice! I also like Cher purely for her first performance, but that at the weekend was a mess.

The painter chap is very good.

I would say that about 90% of the others annoy me though, Gamu is particularly irritating as is that hayden chap.

The wife disagrees mind, she likes both of those 2 and feels that they are favourites to win.

That cher bird would be ok if she didnt think she was black and didnt pull ridiculous faces all of the time. :)

The 12 names have been leaked onto the internet.

In that case I won't be visiting this thread just incase.

But heres my 12 picks

Boys: Don't Care

Over 28s: Don't Care

Groups: Don't Care

Girls: GAMU (winner), Rebecca (the liverpool norah jones girl), and Katie. PLEASE DO NOT PUT CHER IN.

They may have been leaked but are they correct?

After tonight's auditions, you may be surprised about some of the names on the leaked list.

That's what got me so angry.

I'm on the verge of binning watching this show. It used to entertaining but is now totally stale and completely contrived. Cowell and his producers are taking the **** out of us viewers now. I've been a big supporter of Cowell but it's time to lay this show to rest!

Jesus, that was car crash TV. I actually got angry at some points.

Same here lol.

Once again there are far too many cry-babies.

I can understand the 16 year old cracking under the pressure as she is a child. But the rest of them have no excuse for crying while in song.

I felt that the blonde receptionist was crying not because the song meant a lot to her, but because she knew she was crap. It felt as if she was forgetting the lyrics, so was looking for a second chance.

I'm still not understanding why all singers seem to cry. Are these people a different breed from other (more balanced) human beings?

I like the painter/decorator, for not only his voice but also the fact that he doesn't have an associated hard luck story (which virtually all other contestants seem to have), on top of which he doesn't cry - he just goes out there, sings to the best of his ability and then waits for the result.

Also, there is talk of wildcards being introduced in next weeks first live show.

Oh dear. What a mess this show has turned out to be. It seems Cowell is trying/experimenting a few things out before he gets US X factor up and running.

I thought it was hilarious watching Louis cringe at his contestants last night. What a group he's been lumbered with :D Girls are easily the best again this year..

I wouldn't say that the girls are the best this year. I actually felt that Cher Lloyd was the most original contestant of the whole lot, however, given that she can't handle pressure (probably due to her age), its unlikely she will have the staying power to make it all the way through.

For me, the (male) painter (at this point of the show), is the most complete singer, so I would say at this point he is the most likely to win.

The black girl (who always cries), is also a good singer, however, personally, when I listen to a song or watch a singer perform, the last thing I want is to see them cry. The best performances are those that the singer is enjoying with the audience. Perhaps if I were having a funeral reception, I would have the black girl sing, but other than that...no thanks.

If that Cher does get through, I'm giving up on the show. If she can't handle the pressure then she shouldn't go through. Doesn't matter if she had a sore throat, Chezza gave her the chance to come back later and she said no.

Cher has tonsillitis bound to be hard to sing and give it her best i think she will get through
