The Duke has returned

If Serious Sam HD sold well enough, Duke should at least match it :) I for one will be looking forward to it but at the sametime I am not expecting the best FPS to ever be released!!!111
 
After waiting for it for so long, just feels like I'm getting trolled.

Aint gonna believe it till I see it at the gameshop.

I recall making a deal on here with Tefal I think it was where I agreed to eat my hat if the game did not come out and Tefal would eat bowel movement if it did!


In fact I think it was Evilsod....maybe that's why he's so angry lately :p

Video of the playable demo being played. Decent quality and not a shakey-cam special. Skip to 2:40 because the beginning is just Randy Pitchford talking.

Although DNF is very clearly intended to be a console game, they did pay at least some attention to PCs so maybe we won't get just a bodged up console game quickly made to work on a PC. It also seems to be properly Duke Nukem.

The graphics look amazing even if that is the console version, looking forward to DX11 soft shadows though so the blockyshadows are not there for PC \m/

How do you come to that conclusion? The vast bulk of development was as a pc game only, it was designed as a pc game with console ports added very late in development. Gearbox handled the 360 port and another company done the ps3 port.
 
wasn't bothered about it before now, but will defo grab some time on it when released, this has the potential to bring back humour to gaming, DNF multiplayer could be a complete hoot
