Yay! Indian call center lols

What I do whenever I get a call like that is pretend to be really interested but ask them if they could hold on for a sec as I'm just on another call.. Anyway, you'll be suprised how long they are prepared to wait.. I had one wait for 35mins once, and laugh when they whine that I had them on the phone holding for me..

lol, seriously?? someone waited for that long!!! haha :D

Discussion forum, learn what that means.

God u sound like a right barrel of laughs!

Go discuss something that interests you then cause you obviously ain't wanted here!

Quality! I woulda carried it on for a little while longer tho!!

LOVE IT! next time those buggers call me...(tomorrow probably) I'll use that.
Have done this in the past:
Them: hello is this Mr Jones
Me: yes
Them: we can save you on your insurance
Me: do you want to me my friend :)
Them: Sorry?
Me: Do you want to be my friend, I can give you hugs
Them:.....call ends

Just me or was that not even remotely funny?

This.

For me I don't see the point. You're only wasting your own time when you could have just said no or even just hung up the phone. I actually feel a little sorry for the guy and his supervisor.

Also would you have done it if it was someone calling from inside the uk?

Because British companies pay them to.

Big companies at that, British jobs for British workers :D

As soon as I get an Indian on the phone, I know its going to be hard work, I remember when I went over to Orange and they had Indian call centres and it took me 30 mins to get setup, now with o2 that is automated, prefer automated to an Indian.

You could have just said "No" i'm not interested, the person on the other end is just trying to do a job.

Yes, after all being paid to do something means it's perfectly moral and polite and no one should criticise them for it, only the other day I was saying how people were too hard on Himmler.
