I think he's right (on PC anyway), no one seems to care about the PC market anymore they just make for console market then half-arsed port it to the PC.

I think if someone made a good PC FPS for the PC market only it could do huge sales as there is big demand.. EA can shove their console port cr@p you know where..

Im suprised to read so many negative posts about the beta on here. The majority of people I have spoken to have really enjoyed it. Yes, there are a few issues and some things missing (prone etc) but you have to take the game for what it is. Comparing it to other games isnt really fair. Dismissing a full game based on 2 maps with limited weapons just seems a bit silly. If this was the case I for one would have never bought BC2 based on the beta. That was one of the worst betas I have ever played but I still bought the game and enjoyed a few hours of tedious gameplay.
 


I found the moh folder under steam and it's 1.7gb. I manually deleted it

MOH I would describe as a kids game. Not that anyone cant enjoy playing it but it helps if you are new to fps, its good for that

It's strange that this game has devided opinions so much! I agree that it's not really that much different to either CoD 4 or MW2 but did those who have slated it really expect something different? I also agree that perhaps the maps used weren't the best but the 'open beta' was probably planned for 2-3 months ago and it's possible those were the most completed maps available. If you want the next stage on from BC2 or BF2 then BF3 will be it, not MoH.

When I first played it, I thought, what a load of garbage. But, when me and a few mates jumped on with vent, it was one of the best team games I've played in years, vent was frantic as we tried to capture points. This is exactly what MW2 should have been like with dedicated server, but failed big time.

I would class this as MW3 with dedicated servers. You can, and will , be able to play competitive games with MOH, unlike MW2.
 
yeah it does have potential, it appears to be more team driven than say BC2 or at least that is how i am looking at it.

I'm half tempted to get this but will hold out until Friday when the reviews roll out. Anything below 80 on Metacritic and I'm not touching it. Anything over and I might get it purely for the SP experience, which looks quite good.
 
Hmm woke up to a nice email saying my Pre-order was being processed, then another 10mins later saying it got canceled. I dunno if its a sign or not! I just wanted a change from playing an old classic (SoF2 :D), I did enjoy the beta even though it was a bit of a spray n pray fest with certain people. Do people download their games off Steam nowadays? I might have to give it a go if im still tempted.
