how amazing is team fortress 2 !!

I'm getting kinda tired at the scout spam. Get a half decent player with scout and shortstop and its an annoyance, get 20 odd people all playing this combo on one map like I did tonight and its just madness.

Play soldier. Only the good scouts will be able to kill you.
 
I really can't see the appeal with team fortress 2, in comparable to the latest fps on the market it becomes mundane very quickly for me. I purchased it on the steam deal last week and have only played it a few times.

We usually try and get are server going between 6-7pm, some days it gets going some it doesn't. It should get easier to fill as more people add it to favourites.

If it does fill we're usually on it until 10pm at least. :)

When you say the latest FPS on the market which do you mean?

I can't think of many recent FPS that haven't been marred with at least some kind of massive downfall.

TF2 is still getting massive content updates regularly.

The spy seriously annoys me! :p

I'm the one who always gets backstabbed then runs around setting my own whole team on fire. Or attempting to. :o
 
It used to be a simple, fun game like TFC was. Then came hats and the other crap. I haven't played in 6 months so gave it ago as there were lots of updates. It was just full of people spamming chat about swapping things, rather than just playing the game!

Yeah the trade spam is very annoying but the enjoyment of the Hallowe'en update more than makes up for it. Serious adrenaline rush every time the present appears :D
 
I can't say I noticed much effect on the game from the economy update, but that's on the servers I play on. On other public servers there is some annoying spam, but I don't play on them really.
 
Reinstalled TF2 about 3-4 weeks ago, and I just can't find a server that isn't full of bots. Seems there's more bots than actual players and they aren't that easy to spot at first either. Really spoling the game for me.
