So what traits did you go for at the start then?

Went for Wild Wasteland for a laugh and Good Natured

Just got the part when you have to clear the basement of Nightkins or something they keep making me jump lol.

Taking a break now will have another go tomorrow so far a great game though!

:D i felt a bit guilty raiding all the stimpacks then the doc giving me some more before i left :p .
 
My copy arrived right on time this morning. That made me happy. What hasn't made me happy is that I've only had time to go through the character creation bit due to how busy I've been.

I have to wait until Sunday to be able to really sink my teeth into it! I have set it to Hardcore Mode though for a real challenge.
 
If you've not chosen the Wild Wasteland trait and are wondering what it is, well I won't spoil it for you, but one thing I will say is that it's worth having it.

Both are the same game system with different stories. It would not matter which you played first...

Has anyone got the Prima guide ? I used it for fallout 3 and found it to be quite helpfull.. Have read a few reviews saying the guide this time is a bit shoddy any opinions..?

Just use fallout.wikia.com and save yourself some money.

Edit:

When you talk to Primm Slim about a gun you get the option to suggest he's been hacked. It says "[Science 40/50] Maybe you've been hacked or something?", but when you hover over it it has a red outline to it, as if it was bad. Anyone knows what can happen if you chose that option?

It just fails the speech challenge. If you level up you science you can fix him and he gives you a quest
