I'll mention something again.
Car slike these will not be anywhere near as good handling as they once were. It is a probable fact it is on the same bushes it rolled out of the factory on, same ball joints, track rod ends etc etc. To get it back to it's former glory these will all need replacing as 10+ yr old and 40,50,60k+ steering and suspension components will be incredibly worn even though they might not look it from the outside. I'll glady report back next weekend after mine is geo'd and flying again.
Adds up £1-1.5k to do everything properly with a few uprated parts and this is just parts cost.
Or just buy the car and run it as is, but don't harp on about handling this and that becuase you will need to experience how good it is when setup properly and isn't wearing 90yr old knickers!
But.... but..... but..... it's got an LSD![]()
Cheryl would get the boot, Jessica can stay IMO.
Geordie accents = win.
It's ok he'll have a 20year old 205GTI next as these are the next big thing apparently
i have to agreeNegative.
Why not look at 205's Mike?
[TW]Fox;17739630 said:He was saying something about the Corsa VXR being the absolute best car all round car for under £15k IIRC. Can't remember the specifics but it was the first time I noticed him, at least.
Is that the best argument you have?
Yes, I find it quite comfortable as far as nippy cars go, like I say, I've yet to experience anything that can match it as an all round package.
Could someone briefly summarise why the entire Motors forum has something against MikeHiow?
In summary, Mike appears to be unable to stop himself exaggerating certain things or extrapolating thrid party information he's come across. As we all know this is the number one sin smeone can commit on the Ocuk forums in general. As is customary here, the marjority people revel in running rings around people perceived as weak in this way and this is especially true in Motors. Persoanally, I would more more intestered in the detective work being used to explore allegations of conflict diamond smuggling or arson, but someone gettings some facts wrong about a car seem to be a more popular line of investogation as it happens.
