The problem is that teasers are great, they can help people keep interest. Its trying to stop comments being out and out spoilers thats hard :(

People are getting a bit ott about people even mentioning it being out in the US now, I've not seen anyone post a single spoiler so far but just comment on the show as a whole with simple statement as 'It was really good'. I'm all for going mad if people post spoilers but otherwise lets chill people :)

Going to watch this as they come on uk tv for a change but cant wait for e2 :(

Still odd to see Andrew Lincoln not seen him since Teachers :p

NeilFawcett in over reacting to spoilers shocker? :p I've been here before :D

Really Really enjoyed the first episode, can't wait for the next one :)

Enjoyed the gunshot in the tank.

just watch'd this from my sky + recording, been meaning too for a day or two and managed to get around to it tonight.... WOW love it, really cant wait for ep2!

done a excellent job of setting the mood and really kicking off a promising story, great direction, great atmosphere and nice to see they arnt holding back on the gritty decay that comes with zombies, must say this has the scope to be a very original very genre leading endeavour and a welcome addition.
excellent pilot and two thumbs up!!

Does anyone else think it looks pretty pants in HD? Didnt compare how it looked to the SD version as i recorded it but it looked no different to standard SD shows :(

Still loved it though, cant wait for next weeks :D

Hardly suprising given how good the show is, but it's now official:

(New York, NY – November 8, 2010) AMC announced today the renewal of “The Walking Dead” for a 13-episode second season. Since debuting Sunday, October 31, “The Walking Dead” has broken ratings records, with the series reaching more Adults 18-49 than any other show in the history of cable television.

Today’s announcement also includes Fox International Channels’ (FIC) global renewal for a second season, following record-breaking premiere ratings in 120 countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia and The Middle East. “The Walking Dead” was the highest-rated original series premiere ever to air on FIC simultaneously worldwide.

“The ‘Dead’ has spread!” said Charlie Collier, President, AMC. “No other cable series has ever attracted as many Adults 18-49 as ‘The Walking Dead.’ This reaffirms viewers’ hunger for premium television on basic cable. We are so proud to be bringing back ‘The Walking Dead’ again, across the globe.”
