New-age Celica vs RX8

The 190 isn't actually a proper 190bhp engine. It's 140bhp until 'lift' takes place at high revs.

Yeah man, can't believe Toyota tried to pull the wool over everyones eyes with that one.....lol

edit: Just found a dyno graph of the engine:

Probably nobody, but it's still a crap engine, and it looks rubbish. I just pointed it out because i remember being in the back of my dads mates 140 version and im 5ft 8 and had to lean to the side lol.

I beg to differ, I went for that engine after owning a fair few Honda's with similar engines and test driving a Civic Type-R, depends on which engine you mean specifically, the 190 or 140 the OP is discussing the 190 or at least I assume he is

Because no-one can be bothered to explain to you everything about car engines and so on, certainly not me (and certainly not in a way that you will understand)

Instead of ridiculing me, how about explaining how I'm wrong eh?

Without spending several hours explaining how car engines work its pretty difficult.

Basically the bhp figure in the brochure is peak power. No car makes that power all the time.

I hate the Celica and think VVTLi engines are crap. I have no fanboyism at all. I think you are wrong.

The end :p
