Right from my first MP game on Black Ops i loved it. I think the maps are stacks better than MW2 and im yet to find one that i seriously dislike. The majority seem to be close quarters type maps which suits my style of play down to the ground as im hopeless with any sniper rifle.

Also loving the fact you have to buy perks, weapons etc rather than waiting to level up. Add's another good aspect to the game along with wager matches.

Best map so far is Array.

Yep I'm loving all the maps so far. None that come up that I dislike. Had some great games of demo last night. I did keep killing the same guy on launch they just kept spawning both our teams literally next to each other. But it was quite funny :D
 
I cant get into single player, too many flashbacks. Seems to be a few graphical glitches too, people floating in air when dead

Hopefully MP will be good

Thanks for reminding me that my only gripe so far is the spawning. On some maps (typically nuke town but granted, it is very small) you will find that your dead within the first 5 seconds of spawning quite frequently.

Maybe this is something that will be patched out by Treyarch.

I heard different. Heard it was a bug that was being worked on. I thought it was intentional, fits in with the black ops theme that everyone would be stealthy ninja types, makes for a new way of playing.
The sound of your own feet going comically fast like speedy gonzalez revving up, tripping over themselves at times made it believable that there could be something up with the sound.
 
I've always used Ninja in these games due to not liking the footsteps sound. Same with other CODs. Hopefully they will sort the sound out soon, it's strange that when we play a couple of us can never hear the heli gun fire and the rest can.

I love Nuke town!
Only one map so far that I'm not keen on.

Pointless equipping air units as a perk because I can never get one in anyway due to airspace being full. So I have changed that around now.

Yes it does track on your overall stats just doesn't matter so much on the end game leaderboard.

They still do it had pleanty of Dom games so far that were easy to win when the enemy just camped on our own flag with no intent of taking it and farming kills for K/S easy way to check is before the game starts just check out the enemy teams stats big KDR = Farmer coupled with a .20 W/L ratio.

I'm happy with my 2.3 W/L and my 1.65 KDR :)

Yep had to do a full reset to sort it out along with router. If you watch your connection during the lag it goes down to one bar then back up again. Another Bug????

This is true.

As I stated a long time ago in the MW2 thread a good headset is almost like cheating on the game. It offers a huge advantage over the other players. But in this game it's useles as is ninja/ninja pro.

SOOO who has unlocked pro perks so far?

I have

Warlord Pro - great
Scavenger Pro - great
Ninja Pro - Waste of time so far......

Cheers mate....just posted in it. After playing last night there's defo something up with the sound. I'm getting certain buggy situations with the image. Occasionally my voice and gun sounded from the rear and I guy shooting at me sound 60 ft away but when he reloaded that sound was very clear and close. Just checked that thread and some people are reporting the same thing,.


5punk3monk3y I cant believe ninja pro is useless and currently going for it :(
 
You guys are going to hate me but I ran through SP on reg skipping every cut scenes and finished it in about 2 hours :D

The only stuff I watched was Reznov as gary oldmans voice is superb
 
Just read elsewhere that Treyarch mentioned on Twitter that the footsteps volume is being worked on. It wasn't intentional. I did wonder why the standard ninja perk was still there.
I used site rep pro in mw2 so I was disappointed that I couldn't hear anyone but I adapted and really liked it. Made you play with your eyes open wider. A bit more intense :D
Still, will be glad when it's fixed.

• Multiplayer: Radar sweep when there are only 2 Players left in One in the Chamber will stop functioning if the 2 Players have multiple lives when the sweep starts (addressed on 9/9)
• Multiplayer: Crash when viewing content (films, clips, etc) in the Community & Recent Games menu (addressed on 9/9)
• Multiplayer: Users’ rank and stats can get wiped under very specific conditions (addressed on 9/10)
