Frank Lampard has been photographed in his new blue Ferrari 458 Italia - appearing to have contravened two motoring rules.

The Chelsea star is parked on a single yellow line and without a registration plate with fines for these respective offences up to £120 and £1,000 each.

Now, the Ferrari definitely looks better without the plate and with Lampard's sort of income any fine will be a drop in the ocean.

It maybe begs the question - should motoring fines be based on the owner's earnings? In Switzerland a motorist is facing a $1 million fine for being caught speeding. The reason it's so much is because he's very wealthy and was caught going so fast.

They should be means related but with a cap to avoid nutter magistrates going nutty :)
 
But our Frank had only stopped to call the dealer and ask him about putting on a new number plate as his one had just dropped off. :p

It's there money, they can do what they want.

It's pretty much the reason why modern supercars aren't cool, because tossers like Lampard and jedward have them.

You won't see jedward driving a 288GT0 or F40/F50.:D

Ordering something is not the same as actually having something. It's a marketing ploy thats all. It's highly unlikely that they have enough money to pay for a new 458 each, if they did then their management would be rather poor for letting them do so.

Not that I care, the real crime is not buying one in red.
