Not sure if anyone else has tried it, but I made the leap into the gondola and back safely this evening. Just thought I would share...(Yes, I am claiming ownership of this one lol)

You clan tag is 'etched' onto your gun (if you buy the option). Mine is [Pain] on the M14 below. It looks better on other weapons.

And if you want some practice I'd receommend playing the Combat Training: you can have the games how you want and it gets you used to the guns, the maps and most importantly for me it allows you to test weapons and attachments without having to buy them in the real MP and possibly waste money. It's also a bit easier :
Its interesting given the 'includes free multiplayer' message and the various pundits on the net saying that a subscription COD is inevitable that Black Ops includes 'credits' that you earn in-game and use to buy items.
It'd be easy to turn that into a micropayment system - they already have the mechanism in place and working. All they need to do is allow you to buy credits for real money to enable it.
Seems to me thats the way they're planning to go.

They may be thinking about it, not so sure it will work for them the game will die very fast.
There may be a few idiots who would still buy and play/pay it, but not the amount or anywhere near the amount who do now

Every time I play this, and MW2 for that matter, I can't help but remember much more fun days of playing World at War, COD, COD:UO, etc. I think I just like WW2 a lot.
On our server we usually kick who we think the worst player is. If there is no space for members.
Unless they are super friendly. Servers only cost a tenner a month if I heard right? lol so cheap...

Q: Will we get the /connect and /reconnect commands in the next patch?

A: /connect is coming back. maybe not next patch but I promise it is coming back.
Q: Will the last killcam (End of the round) lag too fixed if the patch comes out?

A: TBH I’m not sure yet what is causing killcam choppiness, but we see it too. Will fix.
Q: Not asking specifics, but now that the game is launched, are mod tools ideas being kicked around yet? and congrats on the game!

Q: Will it be possible at some point to have servers with lower max player counts? 18 players in FFA games for example = too chaotic!

It's the norm now, most companies are using Twitter to update the community, I think it's a good thing, least they keep us updated.

I would personally like to vouch for Locky
he is a great clan member and a very skilled and tactical player
sure he gets gobby every now and again but its just trash talk, it happens in every fps
i play in [HaX] and it is a very well organised clan
the clan name is supposed to be ironic and nothing more than friendly banter
it stemmed from the constant accusations thrown around from the debacle that was MW2.
we have had a lot of members join who have been kicked from the clan for hacks/cheats, the clan also has very strict rules around this which every player is fully aware of.
sorry if anyone from tfu got the wrong end of the stick with it.
at some point we will have to organise a clan war on either your server or the HaX clan server.
Ok RJ fair enough, but end of the day if he’s coming on provoking our members and using a tag which in my personal opinion seems a bit antagonising its only going to end one way. However I totally appreciate the idea behind the tag. This is always going to be the problem when trying to look out for every1, unless they have OcUK in their name we must assume they aren’t from here.
On the rare occasion we do ban some1 its not set in stone. They can post on our forums and ask for it to be removed, he would have been warned in game before his initial kicks but if he continued then a temp ban would have been put on. Either way its how we enforce friendly servers and avoid chat wars as I’m sure you can understand.
Not trying to sound a dick here but as long as Locky is aware that his attitude was a bit to much yesterday then its all good…. don’t get me wrong we like a bit of trash talk now and again but knowing when to stop makes a difference.

Can I just confirm our kick procedures, People who jump on the band wagon and say “join our server, you wont get kicked”:
• Members are always asked to wait until the current round ends.
• Ask people playing on the servers to notify them when a space comes available
• If all else fails we will kick the last person who joined the server
• We will NEVER kick someone because they are doing well EVER

For cooling I have the Cosair H50
I have all the ingame settings on minimal \ low and normally I like to play at 1900x1200 but to try and gain a few fps have lowered my resolution to 1600x1200. Most of the game my fps is in the red with it dropping low as 25. I have better fps in both BFBC2 and MOH, they both run smoother and have a higher fps at 1900x1200.

On my sever I would and if you don't like it tough, its funny you always seem to find people who have these kind of tags are also mouthy gits.
Had I been in TFU place I would nver have lifted the ban.
cant really confirm because i wasnt there, but im assuming it was for poor behaviour rather than the tag... i guess the tag just added fuel to the fire?
i'd quite like to jump on these servers, been trying my luck at random ones so far.. goign well but it would be nice to have some sort of organised play
