COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

How do I do this then?

I can't see TFU in the T section when alphabetised.

Make sure you have Hardcore set to yes in the filter options, also I just found it under [TFUvsRtfm] in the server browser, just in the "T" section

it's not a particularly pretty game tbh, there seem to have been a lot of shortcuts and laziness with textures even on max compared to mw2 (and that wasn't exactly mind blowing) :/

A few bits of the SP campaign I thought were good looking, but it doesn't seem to have been carried over to any of the MP maps.

im surprised at the level of people who really dont like it! i think its definitely improved on mw2 which was'nt too hard!

the perks and killstreaks all seem fair and nothing has yet annoyed me, obviously it didnt have the impact what cod4 did but i still think its a worth while purchase !

What do people think of the voice acting in this? Both the delivery and some of the lines the actors have been given?

I thought it was outstanding in both MW games, especially the SAS voice acting, but in Black Ops it is very cheesy. We have supposed elite special forces, during a firefight where they could presumably be killed at any moment with all the bullets whizzing around, and they call out 'great shot' like they are rednecks shooting cans in their backyard with their buddies.

During multiplayer the 'Black Ops' team voice acting is the worst I think. The man voicing the lines doesn't sound convincing, he talks very slowly and deliberately and it doesn't sound like the way someone in real life would actually speak in that situation.

I'm also surprised at how many people didn't like it, if you played Modern Warfare 2 what were you expecting? This is more of the same.

It is worse in most respects, both design wise and technically. That is why people are disappointed. Oh and the crap campaign.

Does anyone know if they are working on a fix or something for the poor performance on Dual Core machines?

I wouldnt mind if it was a stunning looking game but it isnt, therefore it should run fine on a Dual Core CPU really.

Im running a dual fox (3.33 E8600) and everything on max seems to work ok for me. Vsync on and sometimes get dips to high 40's in FPS but its still very playable. (GTX 280 4GB RAM etc etc)
