Thanks for that, I thought something was fishy.

Someone I know said they joined a hacked server, had 1 kill/death and went from 46-50 yet in that video it clearly shows 1 death = 40-41.

God how I love being right.

Agreed. I earned my prestige 2 rank by playing a fair bit and winning a lot, not that it is that impressive but it was hard work. For someone else I play with to just join one of those servers and be the same rank as me ( nearly ) bit of a pee take.
 
The funny thing is its the same exploit that was in Treyarchs last CoD game, World at War. (pre patch 1.1) They didn't fix it for B Ops... lol


Yeah i saw a lot of Prestige 3 and up players yesterday, now i now why... :(

Some of the prestige 3 players could well be legit, but that's the trouble now, nobody knows. I am nearly at prestige 2 after 46 hours of play. So it's taking me about 24 hours play time to go from 1-50. Better players will do it in less time because they will get bigger bonuses.
 
50 is max rank so you wil stick their until you unlock the next prestigue level. I'm about half way through prestigue rank 1 but fortunately aint come across a hacked server. I did in MW2 once got 1 kill and about 17 levels and jumped straight out.

All true, Just seemed like a lot more yesterday. I dont know if i cba to even prestige once to be honest... I'll see, am rank 42 now so not too far off. :)

See I've been called a prestige hacker several times now. I've said in this thread before I was 24 hours played for prestige 1 level 35. When I hit 30 hours I was just hitting prestige 2, I'm now at about 34 hours I guess and I'm prestige 2 level 37-40 (can't remember ) so I'm guessing by 40 hours I'll be prestige 3. But now the hard work I've put in will just be called "Hacks" last play through I got the come top 3 in 150 matches just before I prestiged so I generally come top 3 on what ever team I'm on which means lots of points.

Like you said mate, I get huge bonuses which means I level quick, hit the 1000 kills with SMG, Attachments ( I have 2 ) is big exp can nearly do a half a level to a whole level at 40 + with that.

On MW2 I had it for the 360, I did mine in around 24 hours played, I had 110 win streak ( all FFA iir )
 
Only playing one day so I will give it a chance despite the many annoyances so far (half a clip to kill someone! every killcam is just someone with a better gun holding down fire, they don’t even have to use burst, and is it just me or is the MP5k more accurate without ADS ?) what guns/unlocks would people recommend?

I don’t have many points to spend yet (as I keep getting demoted, promotions being undone!) so want to spend them wisely. What SMG/Assault Rifles are being considered the best?

I generally don't play hardcore mainly i think becuase I like to abuse good minimap awareness. From my experience of hardcore you need good reactions and good reflex aiming to come out on top also you need good map awareness, basically its less forgiving.

Well I'm not the best player but I use....

AK47U - with Grip and Rapid Fire or Rapid Fire and Silencer ( if need to be silent which is really never! )
Light Weight Pro
Warlord Pro ( 2 perks, when pro get 2 nades )
Ninja
Frag x2
Flash x3 or 4 can't remember
Claymore.

That's all I'll ever use and I'm norm Top 3 in a game.

I wouldn't even bother using the grip for the 74u. It's accurate enough without.

Yikes. I dunno how the 360 version compares to the PC but that seems quick :D

In MW2 I have 179 hours played, I am at rank 60 on 1st prestige. If I'd played 179 hours in Black Ops I'd probably be 7th prestige by now. So they've certainly shortened it and probably devalued it in the process.

Ok mate, thanks for that. Will give it a go tonight. I found it helped with the rapid fire as the recoil goes a little wild lol. Will change it to sleight of hand as I miss faster reload :D
