Same here, not sure why everyone gets so hung up on damage. its not a crash sim!.
 
Personally not watched many gameplay vids as the bloke doing is useless lol, most videos are arcade mode, he still only on amature level on GT mode. Think i will wait till people who know what they are doing play/show the game, or until people i trust have it at least.

You'll have it yourself next week, wait until then.

I think that because this game is so huge any minor niggles will be blown out of all proportion by certain people. I personally will not be reading any reviews, I don't need to, as I'd buy the game regardless, and I've stopped watching the videos now, don't want too much of my experience to be spoilt before I get a chance to play.

If you're not careful with big releases like this, the game can feel old when you do get it as you've seen so much of it already.

I know what you mean. The Chamonix video was funny in a few ways: epic white balance failure on the camera, couldn't see very much. Driving on snow doesn't involve crawling round the corners, get the bleeding car sideways you muppet :D

Just had a funny thought whilst making coffee. Wouldn't it be funny if they released a major patch in the first week to fix some horrible scripting blooper. They've had what, 3 or 4 years making this?. It's Polyphony Digital not Bethesda :o
 
Reminds me of Forza 3 rolls, considering how longGT5 has been in prodcution I would be expecting amazing physics never before seen in racing game
