Akala's F64 is still my favourite so far, he's a real genius, he just got back from shooting in the favelas in Brazil, deserves way more coverage than he actually gets.
Not sure if any of you have heard, but on Sunday but Michael Larsen also known as Eyedea past away.
Haven't been any details what exactly happened, but it's a great lose. Rest In Peace
I saw MF Doom at Brixton the other day. I really like Doom but the sound levels weren't too great from the balcony so it wasn't as good as it could have been, but still a great show. The Herbaliser were supporting as well and they were cool but we didn't even realise who they were till they ended the set and said.
The official CD "Ode To The Ghetto" dropped a couple of years ago now and is pretty good but after hearing the MADLIB version (OJ Simpson remix) I am totally hooked. Best CD of the year I think.
These arn't my personal favourates but all I could find on Youtube.
Most of the hip hop I listen to is A Skillz and Krafty Kuts. I love them and I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread and listen to some different artists.
