COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

i knew it was a matter of time before someone posted a petition.. better yet you could wright them a hand written letter. (though, do it in finger paints so they understand more clearly)

Lol at the PC Gamer review: Here’s an idea, guys: make a ******* film. Get it out of your system, and come back to games when you’re ready to give the player even the illusion of control & A door! Wait for an adult to open it for you.

I am going to get this game today buy not sure if its worth getting for pc.

My pc would play it no problems but what features does pc have that xbox 360 don't ?

I know pc has more players online but how many ?

And xbox 360 has spit screen and also no server rules like can't use this gun and that.

That's not the case at all. It's random if it works or not on any given machine. I've got a hand-built PC that can run Crysis max detail without breaking a sweat, which runs the game right up against the frame cap of 90fps but it still lags like anything. It's nowhere near as smooth as COD4 or WAW.

It's not fixed for everyone, it's not even fixed for the majority. I'd say it's very much a minority of people who have a totally smooth game with no problems.
 
Tbh Gothic, get whichever is cheaper for yourself. By the sounds of it, you want it for the Xbox.
 
Only main reason for xbox 360 is playing with my m8s but i don't think any of them have it.

I did say to my self i need a fps online for pc after upgrading my pc but with that you got hacking aim bots i got a hour to make my mind up though.

Its £45 xbox 360 and £40 for pc blockbuster lol.

I had battlefield bad company 2 for xbox 360 it was great playing with my m8s i did unlock everything and it was fun but after my m8s stopped playing i stopped as it was boring on my own lol

I don't want the same to happen on black ops with xbox again so maybe pc this time.

No-one else here needs nearly a whole clip to down someone.

Take some of your theater mode replays, post them up and lets see this so-called 1 clip to down a person. I'd personally love to see if what you say isn't exaggerated at all.

Get it on direct2drive for £37, saves a few quid on Blockbuster/Steam. Plus there are some good servers on their with no hackers :D
 
Indeed, go to theatre and slow it down a lot and you'll probably see you miss by a few pixels. CoD isn't the best game for bullet reg but it's not so bad that you need to put a whole clip into someone.

Just been on this TFU server, can't say the skill was much different from any other unless I've hit it at the wrong time. :p

but it's not every hit is confirmed it could be 1 in 5 bullets actually hit you'll still have a hit indicator.

one of you for all this should be able to show a video of someone taking 20+ truly confirmed ie single shots in quick succession and living.

I don't think this is strictly relevant. What matters is what happens during a match. During a match the enemy won't tend to stand obligingly still. Nor does he in say COD4 or WaW, of course, but in those games it needs much less effort to take someone down.

This could be because Treyarch have modified the weapons to make them more 'realistic' so that even if you have your crosshairs on the target the entire time you are firing, not all your bullets will necessarily hit, who knows.

Yep seen that in game - but last night I said save to hard drive or whatever the option was, then like a noob I could not find it? :confused:

Hard drive or file share? If hard drive I have no idea, but I assume it'll be somewhere in the Steam files (Common - Black Ops) then in the players folder somewhere, at a guess.
