Well of course, that's the point

People have different opinions and tastes. It'd be a boring world if everybody had the same tastes.

But it's the fact iaind's so far up his own backside he failed to notice at least two previous threads on this very subject that annoyed me. You can post what you like here and (until recently) get an honest opinion.

I probably worded it badly. Of course people ask - but it's never been the place where such ideas are met with blind praise. I didn't mean that threads like this never exist, but they normally get common sense replies.

I genuinely do not understand why Morba is here (in this thread, in Motors, on OcUK), unless his reason is just to wade into threads and get offended and start stomping around?

I think I might just RTM every single whinging post I see because tbh, of everything in Motors nothing quite irritates me in the way Morba's posts do. I'd rather have every single thread posted in by Smokey13 than one in 10 posted in by Morba.

Everyone found the thread hugely amusing at the time. I can't remember what your input was but i'm pretty sure you found it epic as well. I don't even think people abused him hugely either - they just expressed complete suprise at the deal and tried in vain to convince him not to do it. It only escalated big time when he kept insisting it was a great deal and using terms like 'getting on the credit ladder'. I bet you chuckled!

It was an awesome thread, like most of the great ones are.

No champion, just ians post was wrong imo (and others agree), looks like it might just have been worded badly.
Telling the op here his idea is crap was not my point and not wrong. I wasn't defending the op or his choice or idea.
