Are there any crimes that deserve death?

what if they have 10 reliable witnesses ,clear cctv footage ,and an admission from the murderer ?

Death no because some crimes warrent a life of suffering. The trouble is by all accounts I have heard prison is like a hotel you dont go out of, and for me being gay it would be like a hotel you dont go out of plus sex. Thier food is better than hospitals. They have a TV in thier room, They can use the internet (I have seen a forum for prisoners to find dates online, and I am not talking about america. Thats just the official stuff, add that to the fact they can and do ge narcotcs and alcahol inside and it does not seem so bad now does it?

Prison should be a terrifying prospect. Once inside your experiance should be so bad and deprived you will do anything to NOT go back. And with only the worst crimes resulting in prison now, and police so tied up in beurocracy I am amazed crime is not going though the roof.
 
the death penalty does not deter people, so, no, i don't think it's a worthwhile method of punishment. i do believe our punishments should be sterner though and more humiliating.

There are far too many of us on this planet anyway but if the DNA evidence was conclusive, let's not waste the time/money keeping 'em locked up; get rid!

trouble is lifer's who probably should get the death penalty don't get this.
they get tv, sport facilities etc and don't even have to work for it whilst the victims and families have to live with the trauma for the rest of their lives.
if the evidence is watertight, I say hang em!

Maybe if we had proper punishments in the UK, there would be less crime.For example,the news story about that scumbag who got caught nicking the phone by that 10 year old kid taking a picture.
He got fined £50.Wow that will stop him doing it again.Maybe if he was breaking rocks in prison for 6 months he might decide its not worth the risk to do it again.

Assuming 100% certainty of guilt, I believe murder and rape should be punishable by death, as well as any sexual crime involving children. Why should such people be allowed to remain in society?
