Gotta love the insurance quotes for a nearly new driver on a stupidly fast twin turbo car, thats 15 years old yet costs £17k :D

That'd cost about 1 years salary to insure.

My bank tried closing my overdraft, obviously they are trying underhand tactics to close them premeturly and hope the students just bin their mail. I had to go into a branch, prove i was still a student and then it was all sorted. Sounds like you got caught out.

Also, for those saying he is bs'ing saying he can't have loads of money and an overdraft are fools, I took my 0% overdraft out and stuck it in an ISA along with money I obtain from working and various other places. There is nothing that says you can't do that.

Ive been driving 8 years, have full NCB, havent crashed or claimed yet, and have 3 points in my entire driving career, and the car is a UK spec so insurance is cheap. Some people have paid more on their Jap spec Non turbos then upgraded to a UK TT and the insurance is 1/3 cheaper!

Im specifically looking for a low mile UK TT 6 Speed so i need all the money i can get. Theres one in perfect spec for £17k so i still need quite a bit more!

http://pistonheads.com/sales/2163051.htm Thats a pretty good example of "mint".
 I didn't realise they cost so much, considering they're getting pretty old now! I guess you'd better get saving... :p

Fair enough, pardon my 'student' assumptions and your seeming relevant lack of financial institution knowledge.

Whats your insurance quote on one of those then?

£708 per year with Admiral. total £1250 excess.
