GT All Stars in Expert and Like The Wind in Extreme. I've got a Raybrig NSX for GT All Stars, gonna try it out in a sec, I've got the Veyron but no matter what I do with it I just can't get it to go round a corner in any meaningful way.

I done like the wind with a Corvette can't remember the model but it needed to be race modified then upgraded, think it was about 650k all in, for the oval you will need to work on the gear ratios and aero (I just ran max aero and max top speed did need to do a fair bit of AI blocking though), the race at Daytona road was easy with the default setup, the Minolta you get for winning like a wind can then be used for all stars and is easy enough also (might need a upgrade iirc)

I did the Daytona race on default settings with a Veyron, just couldn't manage the Superspeedway though, they were just cruising through the bends and I couldn't get the power down. I've bought a Raybrig NSX and added a turbo charger and racing slicks to it, it still can't keep up with the likes of the Minolta and the 908 single seater. It's ridiculous I'm just about ready to tear my hair out. :(

If I could just finish that Superspeedway on Like The Wind then I'd have a car that could compete in the all stars.
 
If anyone spots an M3 CSL in the used car market, or has one in their garage, would you car to swap me a car of equal value? I'm dying to get one. the only car I really want in the game lol.

You win one for doing one of the B-Spec races if i remember correctly, the one i saw was half a million :/ No chance!

Edit - Fully tuned race modded ZR1 Corvette is a beast of a car! Just did the 1st Like the Wind race and won by over 8 seconds :cool:

Also anyone having trouble with the Classic Race Car one a Race Modded fully Tuned Dodge Challenger does the job. Also looks too epic not to buy :D

458 Italia has Carbon Ceramic Brakes, it might not glow red hot like standard disc brakes. I may be wrong though!
 
Okay, so who would like to lend me a car that is able to win the 2nd Like The Wind race?
The one that takes place on the Superspeedway? I will send one of my own expensive cars in the opposite direction if you are scared I'll run away with yours, I've got an NSX which I've spent over 1 million credits on if someone wants to give that a try. :)
 
I have nothing :p - but if I had I would offer it of course...

/sets me up for getting gifts when I get to those events ;)

[rant] Least you guys car get online :mad: Only estimating 1/2 million users using online is just insane, and I want to know what rock the designers were living under when they thought that up :mad: It wouldn't be half as bad if trying to connect to the online didn't cause menus to take 10 minutes to load [/rant]

In other news a race modded and fully upgraded ZR1 is what people are using for the Indy Superspeedway (oval) Like the Wind race?
