Its best to do the RM first, as RM includes things like the full customisable transmission and some engine parts. Probably best to avoid seeing as you've already invested in the car

Just for a laugh i put my b-spec driver in the turbo race i think it was with the toyota race car that you win and he was up against evo's and such and only won by 2 seconds LOL .
 
Is there any way to save custom geometry settings? I've not seen it yet but im hoping it's hiding somewhere, get's annoying having to setup the car all the time!

The tyre wall, track, shadows?

I do prefer the lighting on GT5, and I don't want to get into a GT vs FM debate but come on, you have to give FM3 a little credit for what they did in the time.

I agree that the surroundings look slightly better on FM, but the car model definately looks more realistic in GT5. Having never played FM I can't really comment on anything but that video. I guess the GT5 dev team focused more on the cars than the tracks.
 
Im confused - if shortcuts like the crowds and trees allows us to race at 60fps at high res on the track does it matter? Sometimes its a necessary evil...

Its amazing how naive some posters on here are and on the other hand how many feel that oneupmanship is a good quality to have ;)...

Well that crowd shot is obviously useless, since the GT5 shot is practically side on, whilst the FM shot is from the front. If you took a shot of the crowd from the side on FM I'm sure they'd look the same. :cool:

But GT doesn't run at constant 60fps and has tearing. They should have taken more time on it.;)
