It is that time of year. All I hear is "oh, that's sooooo pretty!" "Oh, see that's someone who cares", "Oh, that was so romantic".... "Why can't you be more like that?"

Yeah, sorry woman! You're spending all my money! How the ... do I afford that?

Well, I guess I need to figure out a way if I want to keep her.

Stupid jewelry retailers.

Is she joking or is she one of these hawkish monstrosities who yearn for lavish gifts or 'you don't love me anymore, waa waa waa!' ?

You know, just sayin'.

I won't ever understand men who allow their other half to spend their money and be guilt tripped into buying pretty little things. It's like you're having to pay a fee to be in the relationship.

Call her a prostitute in an arguement about money, it will flatten her. And you probably.

They're not stupid - they're selling small pieces of shiny rock for farcical sums of money. Their customers could be considered stupid for buying small pieces of shiny rock for farcical sums of money, though.

You're "dating" a dishonest prostitute. Do you want to be doing that? If you do, are her services worth what she charges for them?

That's why you are still single :D :D :D :D

I've bought the wife nice jewellery but she's never once tried to guilt trip me into it. In fact the only specific thing she's ever even asked for was a set of cheap studs.

Are you sure she meant what you understood? :p

smash her safe door in with your crown jewels and then polish them on her hair once you have finished to keep them bright and sparkley
