Fallout: New Vegas

:( is this a bug, i just completed it with with khan saying they will relocate once the attack begins. At the ending the voice over says after their suicidal last stand at the dam..... wtf they were supposed to leave not fight, i got them to break their deal with the legion.

Was just wandering around the jacobstown area and found a silver mine that contained a few cazadors and a fair few explosives, then on the way out a huge cazador jumped me (Legendary Cazador) and proceeded to murder poor Rex and me :( a few attempts later i finally killed it! first time id bumped into one of those things and hopefully the last.

It will be, as far as I'm aware there is only one Legendary version of a few creatures. The Legendary Deathclaw is easily the most powerful enemy in the game.

lol not looking forward to meeting that one then :D

Yeah, bloody huge it is and in a cave which doesn't help. There is a unique 40mm grenade machinegun in the same room, you can however get by it without needing to kill it, but wheres the fun in that? lol

Fairly easy to kill with a .50cal sniper rifle, AP ammo and good sneak/stealthboy.

On normal difficulty, maybe... On very hard the .50cal sniper rifle (anti-materiel rifle) has too slow a rate of fire to take down that beast. It took me 10 headshots with a sniper rifle (100% crit chance with better criticals, and armour piercing rounds), so it would take at least 15 shots with the AM rifle.

Since there isn't much room to run away, C4 is probably a good plan!

Completed it as a good guy, doing it as a bad guy now

The gobi campaign sniper is truely awesome, but I do like my normal sniper as it is silenced with extended mags and carbon fibre parts :p

SPOIIILLEERRRRRR ALEERRTTTT

Seems kind of rubbish that when you essentially take over Vegas, the robot just sits there. I was hoping to be paid loads by all the casinos :p

Yeah i am also doing as a bad guy this time around, although it's a shame theres not a whole lot of truly evil quests to do (so far at least) so i waltzed into the white glove society and went on a rampage :)

Went for the Ratslayer last night and got it, not really a great VATS weapon as I can only input two actions

It is a good FPS weapon though, very good at picking off enemies far away unseen.

Is there a house available like Megaton in FO3?
Or another way to store items other than using companions as pack mules?

I haven't played for a while (completed it twice :D) but I did download a mod which gave me a house in Goodsprings - or alternatively, you can get rooms in various places (including Novac, as mentioned above).

I also found that ammo isn't really that much of a problem when starting, in the first few hours I found an outpost named 188 something that has a trader and a gun runner near Freeside that has a lot.

It only needs caps but that's what casino's are for :)

Does anyone know if there is a gun in Vegas like the Terrible Shotgun from FO3 i.e. an automatic Shotgun?
And a gun like Lincoln's Repeater?
